| Near Erwood, Radnorshire. View location The "cup" lichen in the centre is C. fimbriata. Alan Silverside informs me that: "most of the fruit bodies are tapering to a fine point (or to a very small terminal cup), have a floury covering and large, leaf-like squamules at the base. This is C. coniocraea. At the right hand side there is one fruit body that is less finely tapering and is covered with squamules - this I am fairly sure is C. squamosa, though there are others that can mimic it." |
