| Ireland. Dunes at Garranefeen strand, near Kilbrittain. View location The population of Kidney Vetch on these dunes took me by surprise when I saw most were pink but I read on returning that this is very variable species and pink is mentioned in Stace as a possible colour. The plants I examined here do not appear to me to fall easily into any of the sub-species mentioned in Stace. |
