View location

A new family for Floralimages but in unusual circumstances. This species is almost certainly not native here and the nearest native site would be many hundreds of miles away. Either a garden escape or, perhaps more likely, brought here inadvertently during wartime construction works on the nearby airfield.

Taken during a BSBI field meeting and I am grateful to other members of the group for the identification.
