Dog Lichen

Fungi
Ascomycetes (Spore shooting fungi)
Peltigerales
Family: Peltigeraceae

Showing white root like growths underneath and reddish-brown fruiting structures.

Thanks to Alan Silverside for putting me right on this one. (As I thought it was P. canina).

"The margins of the older thallus lobes can be seen to be breaking up into soredia (granules that are dispersed as a form of asexual reproduction). This makes this Peltigera collina.
The evidently scabrose upper surface also fits."
