| Powys (Radnorshire). Stanner Rocks, the only known UK site for this flower. If you would like to see this plant at the reserve contact NRW staff via their telephone helpline on 0845 1306229, or by email: enquiries@naturalresourceswales.gov.uk Supervision is required not only because of the extremely sensitive nature of the plants and their habitats at Stanner Rocks but also because the reserve is for the most part precipitous, slippery and dangerous to visit without proper guidance. Very few plants produce flowers in any year - even though the site has many plants over a wide area. The plant is very vulnerable to ill-placed walking boots and many of the locations where it grows can be treacherous. |
